About Me

My name is Xay DiPaula. I’m a New York based designer with California roots.

I have spent the past decade successfully designing just about everything fashion-wise for womens, mens, and kids for some of the largest retailers in the world, helping them grow their business and gain market share. As an award-winning designer with a demonstrated history of delivering great products, I am seasoned and skilled in cross-functional team leadership, project management, quality assurance, trend and data-analysis, and raw materials development. I strongly believe that my success has been earned by being able to work well with other teams, listening, learning, and truly be humble.

I still serve as a consultant for some of these large companies while designing bags for my own brand, Mee&Co. I am always curious and looking for ways to learn more. I hold a degree each in Fashion and Creative Writing, and am constantly taking courses in other areas like SQL and 3D to broaden my knowledge. I also love learning about other cultures and have been fortunate to have lived abroad and traveled to some of the most amazing parts of this world.

With a great love for DIY, I often make clothes for family members and build things like garden covers and chicken coops. I also obsess over puzzles and documentaries. A traveler at heart and animal lover, you will find me with my dog most of the time. Otherwise, I’m either reading, writing, fishing, gardening, or cooking.
